RATIONALE Now you can calculate DO sag relations in a matter of minutes. As a first attempt, you can use the default values of this program to estimate the effluent BOD for a given ratio of effluent discharge to stream discharge. Alternatively, you can input your own values of oxygenation and deoxygenation constants, stream velocity and temperature, and ratio of upstream DO to saturation DO. You can run a sensitivity analysis on the oxygenation and deoxygenation constants, stream velocity and temperature, and/or ratio of upstream DO to saturation DO. You can use either SI or U.S Customary units. Please note that the program may take a few seconds to process the required number of calculations.
